Since 2018, Keisu and Thuresson have collaborated on research-based projects that take the form of video, performance, text, and sculpture. Their practice centers on the power of existing at the margins, exploring themes such as language, translation, opacity, desire—and occasionally, beauty salons. They connect disparate histories to question state-led systems of oppression, the construction of the nation-state, and prevailing ideals of the "desirable" citizen.
Recent solo exhibitions include Passage at Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, Hamburg, Germany (2025); Sibel Diamond Blonde, Lunar Tides Juniper Green at 69, Oslo, Norway (2025); A Shared Absence at The Aine Art Museum, Tornio, Finland (2024); As Fire Set in My Throat at Österängens Konsthall, Sweden (2022); and The Language of Friction Is Uttered from Within at Kin Museum for Contemporary Art, Kiruna, Sweden (2022). In 2020, they received the KINO DER KUNST Project Award in Munich, and in 2024–2025, they were Artists in Residence at IASPIS – the International Programme for Visual and Applied Arts in Stockholm.
